Today, patients are informed and active in how they’d like to be cared for and communicated with. In fact, it has become a top challenge for health systems who need to balance patient satisfaction and engagement while focusing on healing. One health care executive shared that engaging with technology is imperative and that it must “create value at the business level, create value at the patient level and build foundational capabilities to support infrastructure.”
